Hello Mark,
My name is Eloísa Pérez-Lozano and I am the events and publicity coordinator at Arte Público Press. Thank you for reviewing our book, “”Desperado” by Manuel Ramos last year.
As you may know, Arte Público Press is the nation’s largest and most established publisher of contemporary and recovered literature by U.S. Hispanic authors. We were the original publishers of Sandra Cisneros’ “The House on Mango Street” and other well-known Latino authors like Gary Soto, Denise Chavez, and Ana Castillo. We launched an imprint for children and young adults, Piñata Books, in 1994.
From looking at your blog, I see you review mystery books so I was wondering if you would be interested in receiving galleys or finished books from us.
Please contact me at the email below and I looking forward to hearing from you!

Thank you for your reviews.
I’ve been poking around while enjoying my coffee–enjoying your reflections.
They’re good. Please keep them coming.
Cheers!

Hi Mark,
I’ve been enjoying your book reviews and I have ordered ‘Trapline.’ I know this is a long shot, but I was wondering if you would fancy having a read — and perhaps reviewing — of the police procedural/psychological thriller I published this past May. If not, no worries, but I’m a local-ish-to-Colorado author. I’m from Boulder (family still there), I live in Scotland, just south of Glasgow, and the novel is about detectives in New York City. So it’s complicated. But if you are up for it, and want more information, drop me a wee line.
